Nautical Hacks
nautical hacks from the geek's workbench

In computer palance, the term "hack" refers to any project of little practical value, undertaken primarily to prove to yourself that you can do it.

Now, I'll grant you that with that definition, most of my maritime activities would appear to qualify as "nautical hacks". But I'm refering here, to any nautical do-it-yourself project that would probably be cheaper if I didn't do it myself and is technical in some way. You know, the kind of stuff that earns one the title of "geek" in the first place!

It's a short list right now, but I hope (fear?) to add to it later! Enjoy!
